The Guru Purnima was celebrated on 18.07.2008 without much fanfare as we have lost 3 members of our Sai family during last week, Sribatsa Kar mausa, Sai youth Bulu and Govinda Mohapatra Mausa. The old timer, Sribatsa Mausa's contribution to our Paradip Sai Pariwar can not be ignored. He was in Swami's fold since 1971-72. Bulu was an active Sai youth. Govinda Mohapatra mausa was also blessed by Swami personally during one of his August seva, some years back. We have already prayed for the departed souls and we will pray Swami to give enough strength to the bereaved families.
We had Suprabhatam, Nagar Sankirtanam, Prasanthi Flag hoisting, Sodasopachar Puja, Narayan Seva during day and 1 hour special Bhajan during evening.
SAI SRUJANEE [Wall magazine of Sai youths, Paradip] completed her 1 year on this auspicious day. The Birthday issue was inaugurated in the evening and is on display now.
